Before we start, make sure that “Shared Album” is enabled on your device. To do so, head over to Settings → Photos → and then turn on the switch next to Shared Album.
How to Make An iCloud Photo Album on iPhone and iPad Running iOS 12
Step #1. Open Photos app on your iOS device → Now, you need to select the photos or videos you wish to share → Next, tap on share icon.
Step #2. Next up, share sheet will open. Select the “Shared Albums.”
Step #3. Tap on Shared Album.

Step #4. Now, tap on “+” button and give it a name and tap on Next.
If you don’t want to share the album with anyone, tap on Next → Tap on Post.
Else, enter the phone number or the email of your friend before hitting Next. Now, add a nice comment and once you are satisfied with everything, tap on Post.
That’s it! Your iCloud album is ready. Next, you can access it from the Albums tab and manage it just the way you want. For instance, you will be able to invite your friends, allow/disallow them to post to the album and even delete it.
